The "real" 4th of July party

DW and I surprised the girls on the 4th by taking them all on a boat ride and picnic at the lake! We (surprisingly) found a spot on an island and set up camp for most of the morning. After lunch, we drove around for awhile and then met up with some friends to play in the water. We were packed in DW's little boat, but we all had a great time. We were stopped by a game warden for a routine boat check, and he gave all the girls a t-shirt for wearing their life jackets. We stayed out a little longer than we originally intended, but the girls were having such a great time, we didn't want to leave.
