Julianne's preschool class honored moms yesterday by hosting a Mother's Day Tea Party. When we arrived, we were treated to THUNDERCAKE, strawberries, cookies, and tea. I didn't have the cake, but the strawberries, dip and cookies were delicious. While we were eating, the kids performed a play for us, "The Shepherds Who Cried Wolf." Guess who was the wolf?
After the play, Julianne presented me with a plant:
Everyone together now, "Awwww." The teacher also asked the kids two questions. Here's Julianne's answers:
A perfect day with my mom would be . . . .
"shopping and eating Mexican food"
If I could get my mom ANYTHING in the whole world, it would be . . .
"I will give her a cup and a card."
I have a sneaky suspicion of what DW and the girls got me for Mother's Day :-) I guess we'll have to wait and see!
